Β Nancy Branch, Kevin Clarke, and their friends disappeared during a flight from Santa Barbara to Palo Alto in December 1992. The aircraft lost communication shortly after takeoff, initiating an extensive search operation that ultimately yielded no trace of the plane or its passengers. Despite the belief that they are deceased, the lack of evidence keeps the case open, and they are still missing. We ask anyone with knowledge of this incident to contact Menlo Park Police. Friends: The group included Alan Stewart and Amy Haxton, a newlywed couple married for six weeks.

The foursome planned a weekend getaway to Santa Barbara.

They boarded the scheduled Piper Archer airplane. They were supposed to arrive in Palo Alto at midday, according to the itinerary.Β The flight took off in treacherous weather conditions.

Approximately eight minutes after departure, all communication ceased without any distress signals from the pilot.
