Nursing student Kelly Allen went missing on March 13, 2007, in Berkeley, Missouri, at 20 years old. Eighteen years after the case emerged and still unresolved on March 21, 2025, the disappearance left Kelly Allen’s family searching for answers. Kelly did not smoke or drink alcohol, and she had brown hair and hazel-colored eyes. On the day she went missing, Kelly Allen visited her female friend in an apartment in Berkeley, Missouri. She was last seen at a job interview.

 

Initially, the Saint Louis Police Department determined her disappearance as suspicious because she left behind an untouched $2,000 tax refund check. She also had another job interview scheduled. She also communicated with her friend that day. Authorities conducted searches and entered her case into national databases, including the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and NamUs.

 

Kelly’s cousin saw a woman he thought was Kelly on a train with an unknown companion in 2013. The investigation teams could not verify if the woman spotted was Kelly. As of March 21, 2025, Kelly Allen’s case remains active in NamUs because she remains missing. Kelly Allen’s absence from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s missing persons listings implies that her case is under Saint Louis Police Department jurisdiction or hasn’t received updates recently.
