Authorities found Peaches’ dismembered torso at Hempstead Lake State Park in Lakeview, New York, on June 28, 1997. Peaches, also known as Jane Doe No. Her nickname, “The Girl with the Peach Tattoo,” originated from her heart-shaped peach tattoo with a bite mark on her left breast. The authorities concluded that the death was caused by homicide through decapitation. However, her skull has yet to be located as of 2025, which prevents resolving her identity.
Additional skeletal remains, including extremities, were discovered near Jones Beach State Park on April 11, 2011, and were officially identified as Peaches in December 2016. The unidentified toddler’s remains are known as Baby Doe or Toddler Jane Doe. He was found wrapped in a blanket with gold hoop earrings and a rope necklace. This was near Cedar Beach during this period. DNA testing verified on December 13, 2016, that Peaches had given birth to this toddler who shared direct family ties with her.
