Missing:Β Report: Lisa Marie Shuttleworth
Lisa Marie Shuttleworth vanished under enigmatic circumstances after being last seen on September 4, 2003, at a convenience shop, Pit Stop, located on Pine Log Road in Aiken. Her mother, Lorraine Mabrey, filed a missing person report for Lisa Marie Shuttleworth on September 5, 2003. Lisa Marie Shuttleworth was 34 years old with two children, Krystina and Ryan, when she became a divorced single mother before her mysterious disappearance. Lisa lost her job when she left her position as manager at Jerico’s private club on Belvedere-Clearwater Road, which belonged to one of her relatives.

On the day of her disappearance, Lisa communicated with her daughter Krystina at 7:00 a.m. At around 8:00 a.m., someone spotted Lisa at the convenience store, reading inside her friend’s blue-green 1994 Pontiac Grand Am while the engine idled. She contacted another friend at 10: The friend she called at 10:00 a.m. learned she was waiting for someone to visit. Lisa’s unresolved absence from the bus stop where she should have picked up her son Ryan created initial worries about her location. When Krystina returned home between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. on September 4, Krystina noted that the house remained locked while Lisa’s vehicle stayed parked in the driveway. The way the tea sat off the burner with a napkin on the handle showed that Lisa had stepped outside but planned to return. Lisa’s purse vanished, but she left behind her driver’s license and Social Security card, which deepened the mystery of her disappearance.
We identify Lisa as a Caucasian woman standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 102 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. During her disappearance, she likely wore a white t-shirt with pink or gray sweatpants and may be carrying a pager. Her distinguishing features include a small right foot compared to the left foot, ear piercings, a scar below her belly button, and a mild overbite. Lisa completed her studies at Midland Valley High School while learning bookkeeping and secretarial work.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office suspects foul play in her case. Because there were no signs of struggle inside her house, Lisa’s parents suspect someone took her outside. Her unexpected departure without informing anyone or leaving her kids behind supports this theory The children have been placed with their maternal grandparents, which highlights how the family continues to suffer from this tragic event.
The Aiken County Sheriffβs Office welcomes any information about Lisaβs disappearance through their hotline at 800-922-9709.
